The skyline is meant to be generic. The story takes place entirely in real-world locations, but none of those locations have skylines that would be recognizable to most people. I actually discussed this with Paul too, and forgot about it until you said that, Dan.

Robin, man, this looks amazing! I'm so happy for you man; isn't it truly amazing how God works? This just has to be continued sweet conformation that you are right where God wants you to be. Congratulations bro!

I like the look. I was hoping that the skyline looked like Minneapolis, but it doesn't look like it is - although who knows, some of buildings might be, I just can't tell from the level of detail you included. It's not that important, obviously, but since I live in Minneapolis and Bethany House is here, I thought maybe they used some source material. The real point is, Robin, it looks top-notch and is getting me excited for the book release, that's sure.

Robin, first I have to say "Thanks!" for the books so far. They're lots of fun, and the only problem is that I get so into the books I barely could get myself off the page and to bed a couple nights last week. But, hey, it was worth it, and the trilogy ended well.

I'm definitely interested in the next book. If I remember right, it seems like the first chapter or two of Offworld, in its early stages, may have been viewed by early Infuze readers, right?

Speaking of which, I'm not one for reading much fiction, but I have to say that the only reason I'm reading your books, well, besides the fact that you looked me in the eye at GMA 2006 and said, "You'll buy my book, right Dan?" was that I had already gotten hooked for free online. At first, Fearless was just an entertaining way to pass the time while working at the college computer lab, but by the time it was done, I couldn't wait to hear more. I guess this is just a reminder that people will buy your books if you get them hooked online, and I'm not sure that just the free first chapter would have done it for me. I'm not going to tell Bethany House how to do their marketing job, but I think there's more to be made out of the trilogy by doing some innovative marketing online.

And, I agree with you, I like the big hardcover books. The print is nice and big and the book covers look amazing. Ok, enough rambling from me.

Thanks for the report, Robin. I've been wanting to go to ICRS for several years now, but can never afford it.
