Interesting news about hardbacks/paperbacks. I can't say I'm too surprised. I was amazed and very pleased with the hardbacks that have come out in the last two-three years from Bethany House and a couple other publishers. Due to economic considerations, I guess we should have expected it not to last, but it's disappointing, at any rate.

Robin - Nice photos on Facebook; I'm a sucker for lightning snapshots. And hey, just try to have fun with ICRS; it IS in Orlando, as you've said. Hope the signing and all went well. I'd love to be there myself, but the timing just didn't work out.

Robin,
Major points docked from Bethany House!! I will try to encourage you with the notion that much of your promotion will come from word-of-mouth. I've hooked a couple people up with Relentless already and one had blitzed through it in order to consume Fearless and Merciless.

While BH snubs Merciless, know that we are still in awe of what you accomplished!

I will never understand marketing. Or the cheesy, gimmicky stuff. Personally, I think Merciless deserves much better than it's getting. It's unique, well-written, and I still feel my mind reverting to comic book mode when I read it-the same thing that's happened with the other two books. I'm still trying to figure *that* out! :-)

Epcot is the best part of Disney World. I don't envy you Florida in July, though. :-)

Good luck with the rest of the convention! Awesome pics, especially of the thunderstorm and the sunset.
